§ 116.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Penalties for violation. Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished for each offense by a fine not exceeding $50 or by imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day such violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (B)   Remedies. In the event of a violation of this chapter, the enforcement officer herein or any other appropriate authority of the county or any person who would be damaged by such violation, in addition to other remedies, may institute an action for injunction or mandamus, abatement or other appropriate action or proceeding to prevent such violation. In this regard, Greene County shall have those remedies and authorities authorized and set forth by the North Carolina General Statutes.
