In the case of the death of a member of the immediate family (father, mother, sister, brother, spouse, child, father-in-law, mother-in-law and step children living within the household) the employee shall be allowed three days leave during the next three calendar days following the date of death, for which time he shall receive compensation at regular rate of pay if scheduled to be working. One day’s pay shall be allowed for employees to attend a funeral for the following other relatives: sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents and grandchildren.
