(A) Employees shall receive vacation with pay based on seniority in accordance with the following schedule:

*Three of the 4, 5, or 6 weeks must be scheduled during the summer.
(B) In order to qualify for a vacation, an employee must have had earnings in 26 pay periods during the 12 months preceding his anniversary date. Employees shall notify employer in writing on or before April 1 as to their vacation period preference. Vacations shall be scheduled in periods of not less than five consecutive working days. In the event a holiday occurs during an employee’s vacation period, he shall be paid for the holiday in addition to vacation pay.
