§ 155.132 LANDSCAPING IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES.
   All single-family development shall have a minimum requirement of two native trees with a trunk diameter of two and one-half inches one foot above the ground for every lot. At least one of these trees shall be located between the structure and the street. Existing trees shall be protected where possible. When new trees must be planted in order to fulfill this requirement, the trees shall be native trees compliant with IDNR Indiana Community Tree Selection Guide recommendations. In case of loss, death, or life- threatening damage to a tree, that tree shall be replaced in accordance with the above requirements at the owner’s expense.
