§ 30.32 COUNCIL DISTRICT BOUNDARIES; ANNEXED TERRITORIES.
   (A)    The city is divided into five Council Districts as follows: see maps of Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 attached to the ordinance codified herein.
   (B)   In order to address uncertainties that may arise as to where this code section places Council District boundaries, the Council may maintain a map delineating the District boundaries as they are applicable to the current corporate limits. If the Council determines by ordinance that a particular map reflects the Council District boundaries, that map may be used to interpret the boundaries as established in this code section. If the map conflicts with any written provision in the code that was not clearly the result of an error in drafting or transcription, the written code provision shall govern.
   (C)   In the event any territory is annexed into the city, the annexed territory shall be added to and become part of that District to which the largest proportion of the boundary of the new territory is contiguous, unless the annexation ordinance, or the ordinance adopted in association therewith, specifies a different allocation of the annexed territory to a district or districts.
