§ 112.02 SIGNS.
   (A)   Sale signs are prohibited on city property, including but not limited to parks, playgrounds, utility poles, guard rails, public buildings, public right-of-ways, except the grass area between street curbs and sidewalks.
   (B)   Sale signs are permitted on private property, but only with the permission of the property owner.
   (C)   All sale signs shall be removed within 24 hours of the end of the sale.
   (D)   Any sale sign in violation of this section may be removed by the private property owner or any city employee or official. The person responsible for placement of the sign may be subject to a fine.
   (E)   A fine of $50 may be imposed for the first violation; a fine of $100 for the second and each subsequent violation in the same calendar year.
