§ 72.16 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No person may be the owner of a motorized bicycle and keep, maintain, or operate the motorized bicycle within the corporate limits of the city without registering the same with the Police Department and obtaining a license therefor. Application for the license may be made to the Police Department on a form to be prescribed by the Police Chief and approved by the City Council. The Police Chief may require in the form any information which he or she deems pertinent to the administration and enforcement of this act or any other related laws, ordinances, or regulations. No person shall be eligible to apply for a motorized bicycle license unless he or she can show to the satisfaction of the Police Department that he or she is at least 15 years of age. The applicant shall pay to the city a license and registration fee of $5, which may be collected by the Police Department and receipted to the Clerk-Treasurer in the same manner as fees provided for a bicycle license.
