For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
INDIVIDUAL PARKING SPACE. A portion of the paved surface of the street of sufficient length and depth from the sidewalk or curb to accommodate a vehicle to be parked as may be specified and marked off by the Police Chief.
NO PARKING SIGNS and LIMITED PARKING SIGNS. A metal sign indicating thereon in red letters and white background (18 inches by 12 inches), that this is a no parking zone, or the curbs shall be painted yellow with a yellow traffic paint. A metal sign indicating thereon in green letters on white background (18 inches by 12 inches), that this is a Limited Time Zone and the length of time a vehicle can be parked without being moved. All signs shall be six and one-half feet to seven feet above the ground or sidewalk.
PARKING. The standing of a vehicle upon a street or highway, whether the vehicle is occupied or not by an operator, for a period of time in excess of one minute.
VEHICLE. Any device in, upon, or by which any person or property may be transported upon a public highway.
