(A) No subdivision, preliminary or final plat, site plan, having overhead connections, or public improvement plan approval shall be granted, unless such subdivision, preliminary or final plat, site plan, having overhead connections, or public improvement plan complies with the terms of this chapter.
(B) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and punished as provided in this chapter. Each day, or portion thereof, during which the violation is committed, continued or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such. In addition, the city shall have the right to institute the appropriate proceeding at law or in equity to restrain, correct or abate such violation or to require the removal or termination of the illegally located or installed utility.
