Any motor vehicle licensed in accordance with the requirements of this chapter and subsequently found by the police authority not to be in compliance with this chapter may be impounded. Upon the licensee’s failure to comply after being so ordered, and upon recommendation of the police authority, the Director of Public Service may revoke the licensee’s permit.
