(a)   There is hereby established the position of Community Development Administrator to develop and maintain economic development programs and perform grant activities to enhance City project revenues.  The position of Community Development Administrator is established as a pay grade "8" and the minimum and maximum compensation for the position shall be set from time to time by resolution or ordinance of the City Council.
   (b)   Because of the confidentiality and fiduciary nature of the position of the Community Development Administrator, the position is unclassified and is exempt from Civil Service Rules and Regulations.
