Pursuant to R.C. § 731.231, the city shall adopt the most current edition of the Ohio Plumbing Code, being Chs. 4101:3-1 to 4101:3-15 of the Ohio Basic Building Code, save and except such portions as may be amended or deleted. Each time the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, updates and adopts a new edition of the Ohio Plumbing Code, that edition shall automatically be applicable and enforceable in the city.
