§ 150.50 RESIDENTIAL HARD-SURFACE DRIVEWAY APPROACHES.
   (A)   A permit shall be required for construction of a hard-surface driveway approach to be constructed of concrete, asphalt, brick or other paving stone. An application for a hard-surface driveway permit shall be made to the Director of Public Service or his or her appointee.
   (B)   Hard-surface driveway approaches must be constructed in compliance with city regulations and specifications.
   (C)   No person shall construct a concrete driveway in the city without first obtaining a permit therefor from the city. The fee for such permit shall be $25. The Mayor or his or her appointee shall establish regulations, specifications and fee schedules for hard-surface driveway approach construction.
   (D)   A driveway approach that is installed without a permit or that is not constructed in compliance with city regulations shall be subject to removal by the city, at the property owner’s expense, in addition to the penalty provided in § 150.99.
