(A) The diameter of the proposed pipe shall not be less than the diameter of the existing downstream pipe. Where no downstream pipe exists, or if the city deems the size of the downstream pipe to be inadequate, then the city shall determine the appropriate pipe size. The minimum pipe size shall be 12 inches in diameter.
(B) Acceptable pipe material shall be as follows:
(1) Corrugated, polyethylene pipe with smooth interior liner (two walls) (ASTM F405). Single wall polyethylene pipe is not acceptable;
(2) Vitrified clay pipe (ASTM C700);
(3) Reinforced concrete pipe (ASTM C76); and
(4) Nonreinforced concrete pipe (ASTM C14).
(C) Installation shall be as shown and noted on approved standard installation drawings indicating typical ditch sections and inlet spacings are adequate.
