(A) The Mayor shall have the authority to approve and extend employment benefits to any city employee when justified, at the Mayor’s sole discretion, through the executive order process. The Mayor shall report any additional employment benefits paid to any city employee pursuant to this section to Council within 30 days.
(B) The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay additional benefits upon the receipt of an executive order from the Mayor.
