(A) Council hereby authorizes the establishment of a service award system for city employees.
(B) Pins for years of service shall be awarded in five-year increments, as follows: five years, ten years, 15 years and 20 years.
(C) Employees serving the city for a period of 25 years shall receive a clock.
(D) Employees serving the city for a period of 30 years shall receive a plaque.
(E) Employees serving the city for a period of 35 years, or at retirement, shall be entitled to a recognition function with an appropriate gift.
