§ 73.30 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this subchapter:
   CITY STREETS. Any of the streets within the boundaries of the city, except for state and county roads.
   COUNTY ROADS. Includes County Road 2600N, which is known as West North Street.
   GOLF CART. Includes those vehicles defined in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 1-123.9, being a vehicle specifically designed and intended for the purposes of transporting one or more persons and their golf clubs or maintenance equipment while engaged in the playing of golf, supervising the play of golf, or maintaining the condition of the grounds on a public or private golf course, and for the sole and limited purpose of this subchapter, shall also include those vehicles that would otherwise be defined as “recreational off-highway vehicle” in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 1-168.8, being any motorized off-highway device designed to travel primarily off-highway, 64 inches or less in width, having a manufacturer’s dry weight of 2,000 pounds or less for gas-powered engines or 3,000 pounds or less for electric-powered engines, traveling on four or more non-highway tires, designed with a non-straddle seat and a steering wheel for steering control, except equipment such as lawnmowers. The definition of a GOLF CART for purposes of this subchapter specifically excludes all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), off-highway motorcycles, and any other vehicle that is not otherwise defined herein as a GOLF CART.
   STATE ROADS. Includes Illinois Route 1 (N. Court Street) and Illinois Route 130 (Hagedorn Road).
