§ 57.003   APPLICATION FOR AN EVENT PERMIT
   (A)   Every applicant for a special event permit is required to submit to the City of Grayson, a written application on a form provided by the city not less than forty-five (45) days or not more than ninety (90) days before the date on which the special event is purposed to take place. The application shall include but not be limited to information regarding the nature, time and duration of the special event; the geographic location of the special event; the agenda or program offered; the names and addresses of all persons and organizations sponsoring or staging the event; whether the event will require the temporary closing of public streets; whether police protection or other security is required; parking and vehicle organization during the event; and whether the organizers have obtained general liability insurance naming the city as a co-insured.
   (B)   The City Clerk shall notify the Emergency Management Coordinator of the special event application and the Emergency Management Coordinator may, in its discretion, require an emergency response and/or security plan be submitted.
