§ 22.510   COMMISSION ON AGING AND SPECIAL NEEDS
   (A)   Creation of Commission. There is hereby created the City of Grayson Commission on Aging and Special Needs (hereafter referred to as “The Commission.”
   (B)   Membership; organization. The membership of the Commission shall consist of a panel of seven (7) members, or as may otherwise from time to time be required by law. Members shall be appointed by the Mayor of the city.
   (C)   Staggered term appointment. The appointed members of the Commission shall serve in staggered terms so that all members do not change at the same time. As a newly founded seven (7) member Commission, the term of two (2) member shall be approximately one (1) year, the term of three (3) members shall be approximately two (2) years, and the term of two (2) members shall be approximately three (3) years. As the term of the first members expire, each new replacement member of the Commission shall serve for two (2) full years. The result will be that there will always be a new member replacing an outgoing member each year.
   (D)   Actions. The Commission shall make recommendations on what the city can do to better serve the aging and special needs population.
