(A) All fire hydrants installed on or after the effective date of this article shall have the capacity to provide six hundred (600) gallons of water per minute, with a fraction loss of not more than two and one-half (2.5) pounds per square inch and a total loss of not more than five (5) pounds per square inch between the street main and outlets.
(B) All hydrants shall be equipped with at least two (2), two and one-half (2 ½) inch outlets and a pumper connection four and one-half (4 ½) inches in diameter. A gate valve shall be installed in the hydrant connection to the street main.
