A towing service eligibility roster shall be established at the City Clerk’s office within the city for towing services that have met the requirements of this division and have submitted an application to be on the eligibility roster. The towing service at the top of the eligibility roster shall receive the primary call for towing service within the city until the next need arises for towing service, at which time the next appearing towing service will receive the primary call, continuing to rotate one after the other. The eligibility roster shall be updated as needed with each new towing service added at the bottom of the eligibility roster. Failure of each towing service to maintain the provisions of this division including, but not limited to, the purchase of a business privilege license and insurance, shall result in the towing service being removed from the eligibility roster. All towing services shall therefore meet the requirements of the city business license and be current in all license tax payments.
