§ 40.550   DEFINITIONS
   For the purpose of this division, the following definitions shall apply unless the context indicates or clearly requires a different meaning.
   “ABANDONMENT.” A vehicle left upon a city street under circumstances indicating abandonment for three (3) consecutive days shall be presumed to be abandoned. (KRS 189.751(1))
   “HIGHWAY.” Any public road, street, avenue, alley, or boulevard, bridge, or viaduct, and the approaches to them and includes off street parking facilities offered for public use, whether publicly or privately owned, except for hire parking facilities listed in KRS 189.700. (KRS 189.010(3))
   “TOWING SERVICE.” For the purpose of this division the term “TOWING SERVICE” shall mean any person, firm, or corporation licensed to do business in the City of Grayson for the towing, impoundment, and/or storage of motor vehicles, and which is on the eligibility roster for towing services at the City Clerk’s office within the City of Grayson, or is an applicant for the eligibility roster.
   “VEHICLE.” Includes all agencies for the transportation of persons or property over or upon public highways of the Commonwealth and all vehicles passing over or upon highways excepting road rollers, road graders, farm tractors, and other construction equipment which is not practical for the transportation of persons or property upon highways. (KRS 189.010(18))
   “WRECKER.” Shall mean a motor vehicle on which a wrecking crane and/or other equipment suitable for motor vehicle towing service has been permanently mounted. (KRS 189.011(1)(B))
