No approval or oversight by the city shall be deemed to create any liability to the city, its officer, members, employees or agents, of any kind, including, but not limited to, any express or implied warranty, or the fitness or functionality of the system for any use, and the applicant, as a condition to obtaining approval, shall agree to these terms in writing, and shall further agree to hold the city, its officers, members, employees or agents, harmless from all claims and demands, and shall indemnify them for any liability that may arise, directly or indirectly, as a result of the approval of applications or oversight of installation.
