(A) Tap-on fees for the various sizes of water taps shall be as follows:
¾ inch tap in city $ 600.00
¾ inch tap out-of-city $ 700.00
¾ inch tap in Greenup Co. only $ 800.00
1 inch tap in city $ 800.00
1 inch tap out-of-city $ 900.00
2 inch tap in city $ 1,600.00
2 inch tap out-of-city $ 1,700.00
3 inch tap in city 3’ and 4’ taps will
3 inch tap out-of-city be priced on a per case basis. These require a contractor to make a hot tap

(B) In the event there are extraordinary expenses in relation to any particular tap installation due to either the particular location of the tap or a rise in the cost of materials, the then Utilities Superintendent shall set the tap fee at a reasonable amount which will fairly compensate the Utilities Department considering its expenses and need for profit margin. The tap fee will be reviewed by the Utility Commission.
