(A) The regular meeting of the City Council shall be held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Notwithstanding the above, should the regular meeting fall on a recognized holiday for which the city offices would otherwise be closed, for those months the regular meeting shall be held on the Tuesday immediately following the third Monday of the month.

(B) At such duly called meetings of the City Council, where the Mayor does not attend, at the beginning of the meeting the City Council shall select, by a majority vote of the Councilmembers, one (1) of its members to preside at that meeting in the place of the Mayor.

(C) Special meetings of the City Council may be called by the Mayor or upon written request of a majority of the Council. In the call, the Mayor or Council shall designate the purpose, the time and place of the special meeting with sufficient notice for the attendance of Councilmembers and for compliance with KRS Chapter 61. At a special meeting no business may be considered other than that set forth in the designation of purpose.
(D) The minutes of every meeting shall be signed by the City Clerk.(KRS 83A.130)
