There is hereby created pursuant to KRS 65.8801 to KRS 65.8839 within the city, a code enforcement board which shall be composed of no fewer than three members, all of whom shall be residents of the city for a period of at least one year prior to the creation of the board and shall reside there throughout the term in office and shall be at least 21 years of age. Pursuant to KRS 65.8808, any city which has in place an interlocal cooperation agreement with the City of Graymoor-Devodnale, to perform and enforce the duties of a code enforcement board, will be subject to this chapter and shall be able to participate in enforcement of that city’s ordinances, in accordance with the terms of said interlocal cooperation agreement. Each participating city shall make available Code Enforcement Board members for cases involving property within their city, as set out in said interlocal cooperation agreement.
