The Assistant City Clerk shall assist the City Clerk in combining the official records of the cities of Graymoor and Devondale. Prior to taking office, the Assistant City Clerk shall take an oath to faithfully perform the duties of the office and that he or she possesses the requisite qualifications for the position. The Assistant City Clerk shall be paid a salary as set forth by city ordinance.
