§ 50.36 SEWER GRINDER PUMP REPLACEMENT FEE.
   (A)   The village shall, from time to time, establish by resolution of the Village Council and impose on one or more users the following fees:
      (1)   A miscellaneous user fee, as necessary, for miscellaneous service, repairs and related administrative costs associated with the system and incurred, without limitation, as a result of the intentional or negligent acts of such user or users, including, for example, excessive inspection services not covered by inspection fees, costs of repairing and/or replacing a damaged service connection and costs incurred by the village to shut off and turn on sewer service; and
      (2)   A grinder pump replacement fee, as necessary to fund the cost of replacing grinder pump systems. The Village Council may provide an option for the grinder pump replacement fee that allows a user to finance the cost of the fee with interest over a period of five years.
   (B)   The village will replace a (less than 15 years old from date of installation) grinder pump at no cost to the customer, provided that the customer did not cause the failure.
   (C)   Installment plan: first year at 20% pump price, plus 100% parts and labor.
