No person shall cause or permit the burning of yard waste, including leaves, grass clippings, vegetable or other garden debris, unseasoned or live shrubbery, brush, tree clippings or similar materials to occur upon any privately owned premises or any public place unless in accordance with approved burn days so designated by Village Council and when a required permit has been obtained from the Grass Lake Charter Township Fire Chief or designee, subject to revocation when atmospheric or ground conditions would make the burning of yard waste hazardous.
