All licenses required by the provisions of this chapter shall be granted by the Village Clerk upon application. The application shall state the name of the person or company to be licensed and the time for which the license is required. A nominal fee for the license as set out in the fee schedule in Ch. 39 of this code is payable to the Village Clerk, who shall then issue the license and keep a record of same. It is further understood that all laws and village ordinances shall be strictly adhered to and that their place of business be maintained in a neat and orderly fashion by the licensees.
