§ 91.06 DUTY OF OWNER OR OCCUPANT.
   (A)   (1)   It shall be the duty of the owner or the occupant of every premises covered by this chapter to cut and remove, or to destroy by lawful means, all weeds and vegetation described in §§ 91.02 to 91.05 of this code as often as may be necessary to comply with the provisions of this chapter.
      (2)   The cutting, removing or destroying of weeds and vegetation, if done at least once every three weeks between May 15 and September 15 of each year, shall be deemed to be in compliance with the requirements of this chapter.
   (B)   The duties set forth herein shall apply to lands which are in the public right-of-way unless the duties described in this chapter are specifically imposed by law on the State Highway Commissioner or the County Road Commission.
