GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 90.01 KEEPING CERTAIN ANIMALS; ANIMALS AT LARGE.
   (A)   No person shall keep or house any animals or domestic fowl within the village limits, except dogs, cats, rabbits, canaries or small animals commonly classified as “pets” which are customarily kept or housed inside dwellings as household pets.
   (B)   No person owning, possessing or having charge of any dog, pet or other animal shall permit that dog, pet or other animal to be at large in the village beyond the premises owned by that person, or in the event he or she takes the dog off the premises, it will be on a leash, under the reasonable care of some person ten years of age or older.
   (C)   Division (A) shall not apply to the keeping of chickens in compliance with all requirements of § 90.20 of this code.

§ 90.02 NOISE.
   No person owning, possessing or having charge of any dog, pet or other animal shall permit that animal to make loud, frequent or habitual barking, yelping, howling, screaming or other annoying sounds.

§ 90.03 STREETS AND SIDEWALKS.
   No person owning, possessing or having charge of any cattle, mule, sheep, swine, goat or other hoofed animal shall ride, drive or allow that animal to go upon any sidewalk or street within the village limits, except horses, which are permitted on village streets under reasonable control.

§ 90.04 VICIOUS ANIMALS.
   (A)   No person owning, possessing or having charge of any vicious animal shall permit that animal to be unconfined unless securely muzzled and led by a leash.
   (B)   Any animal shall be deemed to be vicious which has bitten a person or other animal without molestation or provocation or which, by its actions, gives indication that it is liable to bite any person or animal without molestation or provocation.
