(a) No person shall stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic with the provisions of this Traffic Code or in compliance with the direction of a police officer or a traffic control device in any of the following places:
(1) On any portion of East Broadway, east of North Granger Street or on the north side of West Broadway from North Plum Street to the corporation limit.
(2) On any portion of the south side of West Broadway from a point 200 feet east of Thresher Street to the corporation limit.
(3) On the west or north side of Locust Place and on the east side of the street from 40 feet north of West Broadway to the north side of Locust Street.
(4) On the north side of Summit Street from the west line of North Granger Street west for a distance of thirty feet.
(5) On the east side of North Granger Street from East Broadway north 50 feet north.
(6) On the west side of North Granger Street from East Broadway to Cedar Street.
(7) On the south side of East and West Elm Streets between South Cherry Street and South Prospect Street on the north side of East Elm Street between South Prospect Street and South Pearl Street.
(8) On the west side of South Pearl Street from East Broadway to East Maple Street and on the east side south of East Maple Street.
(9) On both sides of the 100 block of Mt. Parnassus Drive.
(10) On the east side of South Main Street from the south line of 118 South Main Street to the south corporation limits and on the west side 45 feet north of Munson Street south to the corporation limit.
(11) On the alley that lies between Cherry Street and South Mulberry Street.
(12) On the east and west sides of North Pearl Street between East Broadway and the north corporation limits of the municipality.
(13) On the south side of Summit Street between North Granger and North Pearl Street.
(14) On the west side of Mulberry Street between West College Street and West Elm Street and on the east side of Plum Street between West Broadway and Burg Street.
(15) Between Prospect Street and the public library on the south side of East Broadway and the first parallel parking space to the east of the library for a period longer than fifteen minutes between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
(16) On the north side of College Street from North Prospect Street to Thresher Street.
(17) On either side of Burg Street from West College Street to the corporation line.
(18) On the west side of Thresher Street from West Broadway north to Burg Street.
(19) On either side of Cherry Street.
(20) On the north side of Munson Street from South Mulberry Street to a point 300 feet east.
(21) On either side of East Broadway between Main Street and the east line of 221 East Broadway, on North Prospect Street between East College Street and East Broadway, and on the west side of South Prospect Street between East Broadway and a point 30 feet south of East Elm Street for a period longer than two hours between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00pm.
(22) On the east side of South Prospect Street from East Broadway south to East Elm Street.
(23) On the south side of Summit Street from Prospect Street to Pearl Street and the west side of North Prospect Street from College to Summit Street.
(24) On the north side of East Broadway from the east property line of 222 East Broadway to the intersection of Granger Street and on the south side of East Broadway between the east property line of the public library to a point 330 feet east of the east line of South Pearl Street and the east side of South Pearl Street from East Broadway to East Elm Street for a continuous period of more than four hours between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
(25) On the north side of West Maple Street from South Mulberry to Cherry Street and on the north side of West Maple Street from Cherry Street to a point. On the south side of West Maple Street from South Main Street to South Mulberry Street and from Cherry Street to Shepardson Court.
(26) On the south side of East Maple Street between South Pearl and Maple Grove Cemetery.
(27) On either side of Jones Road from Newark-Granville Road to the driveway at 537 Jones Road.
(28) In front of both 110 or 115 West Broadway for a continuous period of more than four two hours between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
(29) On the north side of SR 16 from Cherry Valley Road to a point 150 feet west and on the south side of SR 16 from Cherry Valley Road to a point150 feet east of the intersection.
(30) On the north side of Newark-Granville Road from Jones Road to the west property line of the Bryn Du Mansion.
(b) No person shall be permitted to park during school days on the following named streets:
(1) On the east side of North Granger Street from the elementary school driveway to the northernmost property line of the Granville Elementary School between the hours of 7:00am to 9:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
(2) Or at any time on the east side of North Granger Street from the elementary school driveway north to a point in line with the northern side of Summit Street.
(c) Except as otherwise provided herein, whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; whoever violates any provision of this section, and has pleaded guilty to or been convicted within the past twelve months of a violation of any Ohio law or municipal ordinance regulating the operation of motor vehicles on streets or highways, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; whoever violates any provision of this section, and has pleaded guilty to or been convicted within the past twelve months of more than one violation of any Ohio law or municipal ordinance regulating the operation of motor vehicles on streets or highways, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
