Except as otherwise provided in this Zoning Ordinance, the lawful nonconforming use of any property, as defined in Section 1135.01
of this Zoning Ordinance, existing at the time of the adoption or amendment of this Zoning Ordinance may be continued, although such use, building, structure, or land does not conform with the use regulations of the district in which it is situated or otherwise conform with the provisions of this Zoning Ordinance, subject to the prohibitions of Section 1149.02
