(a) The price to be charged for water furnished by the Water Division to residential and business consumers situated in the municipality shall be effective for water usage billed beginning with the month of January, 2020:
(1) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is 1,000 gallons or less, there shall be a charge of five dollars and forty-two cents ($5.42). These rates will increase for water usage billed in January of each year in 2021, 2022, and 2023 as outlined below.
(2) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is more than 1,000 gallons, the charge for all water used shall be at the rate of five dollars and forty-two cents ($5.42) per 1,000 gallons or for any fractional part thereof. These rates will increase for water usage billed in January of each year in 2021, 2022, and 2023 as outlined below.
(3) All utility accounts will be charged at least a minimum monthly utility bill unless the water service has a final reading or is shut off at the curb stop by the Granville Utilities Department.
(b) The rates provided in subsection (a) above shall be further amended for water usage bil led during the month of January, 2021 as follows:
(1) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is 1,000 gallons or less, there shall be a charge of six dollars and two cents ($6.02). These rates will increase for water usage billed in January of each year in 2022, and 2023 as outlined below.
(2) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is more than 1,000 gallons, the charge for all water used shall be at the rate of six dollars and two cents. ($6.02) per 1,000 gallons or for any fractional part thereof. These rates will increase for water usage billed in January of each year in 2022, and 2023 as outlined below.
(3) All utility accounts will be charged at least a minimum monthly utility bill unless the water service has a final reading or is shut off at the curb stop by the Granville Utilities Department.
(c) The rates provided in subsection (b) above shall be further amended for water usage billed during the month of January, 2022 as follows:
(1) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is 1,000 gallons or less, there shall be a charge of six dollars and fourteen cents ($6.14). These rates will increase for water usage billed in January of the year 2023 as outlined below.
(2) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is more than 1,000 gallons, the charge for all water used shall be at the rate of six dollars and fourteen cents ($6.14) per 1,000 gallons or for any fractional part thereof. These rates will increase for water usage billed in January of the year 2023 as outlined below.
(3) All utility accounts will be charged at least a minimum monthly utility bill unless the water service has a final reading or is shut off at the curb stop by the Granville Utilities Department.
(d) The rates provided in subsection (c) above shall be further amended for water usage billed during the month of January, 2023 as follows:
(1) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is 1,000 gallons or less, there shall be a charge of six dollars and twenty-six cents ($6.26).
(2) If the total water used in any one (1) month period is more than 1,000 gallons, the charge for all water used shall be at the rate of six dollars and twenty-six cents ($6.26) per 1,000 gallons or for any fractional part thereof.
(3) All utility accounts will be charged at least a minimum monthly utility bill unless the water service has a final reading or is shut off at the curb stop by the Granville Utilities Department.
