(a) Any person desiring to place a mobile home on any property within the Town of Granville shall first apply to the Common Council for a permit to so place such mobile home, and such person shall not place any mobile home or any property in the Town of Granville until such permit application is approved by the Common Council.
(b) Mobile Home is defined as any house car, house trailer, trailer home or similar mobile unit which may be used for dwelling, eating or sleeping quarters.
(c) Common Council may refuse to approve any permit application if in its discretion, it is determined that the site is not suitable or if the site does not comply with all ordinances of the Town of Granville governing mobile homes or trailers or if it is determined that the use and occupancy of such mobile home or trailer does not comply with all laws and regulations of the State now in effect, or which may hereafter be adopted of the State Department of Health and the County Health Department.
(d) The Common Council shall have the right to revoke any permit previously issued for the violation of any provisions of this section.
(e) Any person or other entity who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty (30) days or both. (Passed 10-12-93.)
