All permits issued under the provisions of this article shall be in accordance with and shall comply with the Building Code and the Zoning Ordinance of the Town and no permit shall be issued by the Town in violation thereof. The issuance of permits based on construction documents and other data shall not prevent the Code Enforcement Officer from requiring the corrections of errors in the construction documents and other data. The Code Enforcement Officer is also authorized to prevent occupancy or use of a structure which is in violation of this Code or any other ordinance of this municipality.
