The Common Council of the Town of Granville hereby ordains that the rate schedule for the collection of garbage and refuse within the Town of Granville be revised as set forth in the following schedule:
(a) Residential garbage service - two hundred forty dollars ($240.00) per year
(b) Commercial garbage service - three hundred dollars ($300.00) per year
(c) An additional charge may be levied or established by the Common Council for establishments with extraordinary amounts of refuse, and the charge shall be based upon the actual cost of collection of garbage and refuse from such establishments.
Assessment and collection of fees will be made in accordance with the provisions of Article 1139 of the Codified Ordinances of the Town of Granville, and in accordance with any policies, regulations, forms, or rules adopted for that purpose by the Mayor from time to time, all of which are authorized by this section. This section supersedes and replaces any prior ordinance with respect to the same subject matter and in conflict with the terms of this ordinance. (Passed 5-24-22.)
