The Chief of Police and all police officers under the employ of the Town of Granite shall be identified by an identification card bearing the officer’s photograph, signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clerk and by an official police officer’s badge. The identification card and badge shall be provided to the officer by the Town of Granite and shall be surrendered by the officer whenever the individual ceases to serve as an official member of the Granite Town Police Department.
