Any car, truck or other vehicle parked, left or abandoned in violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be removed from the place the same is illegally parked, left or abandoned to any appropriate place to be stored until claimed by owner or person having possession thereof; a charge shall be made for the removal of such car, truck or other vehicle in the rates and amounts as established by applicable state or federal law.
