Any person who violates any provision of this chapter or of any ordinance, code or standard adopted by reference by this chapter or maintains or permits to continue any public nuisance as defined by this chapter shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by fine and costs as provided for in § 10.99 of this Code. Every day upon which a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
