§ 54.15 CERTIFICATE.
   (A)   The words GAS INSPECTOR as used in this chapter refer to the Gas Inspector of the Town of Granite, and he or she shall have supervision over all work regulated by this chapter relating to gas fitting.
   (B)   All pipes must be inspected by the Gas Inspector as soon as possible after the work is finished and before the building is lathed, and if the same conforms to the provisions of the ordinances of the Town of Granite, the Gas Inspector shall, upon the payment of the fees therefor, issue a certificate of inspection. The town shall furnish the Gas Inspector with proper proving apparatus for testing all piping fixtures and meters. Any piping fixture or meter found to be defective shall be ordered removed and same replaced with perfect materials, fixtures or meters at the expense of the person having work done.
