§ 11-2-12 ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS.
   (A)   The Zoning Board of Appeals established pursuant to the 1989 Grandview Zoning Ordinance is hereby reconstituted. The President shall appoint, with the advice and consent of the Village Board, five members to serve thereon, each with a five-year term; however, their initial terms of office shall be as follows.
      (1)   The person designated by the Village President as Chairperson of the Board shall have an initial term of office of five years, or until a successor is appointed and has qualified.
      (2)   One member each shall have a term of office, respectively, of four years, three years, two years, and one year, or, in each case, until a successor is appointed and has qualified. Such terms of office shall be chosen by lot at the first meeting of the reconstituted Board.
   (B)   The salaries of the Board members shall be as follows:
      (1)   Chairperson: $30 per zoning petition, variance, or appeal processed by the Board; and
      (2)   Other members: $20 per zoning petition, variance, or appeal processed by the Board.
   (C)   The Board shall have all powers and duties set forth in the state’s Municipal Code and in the 1989 Grandview Zoning Ordinance, as amended.
