§ 7-5-11 AUTHORITY OF CHIEF OF POLICE TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS.
   The Chief of Police is hereby authorized to prohibit the parking of vehicles at all times, or between certain hours on any street or portion of street when in his or her discretion such parking may impede the free flow of traffic on such streets or create a hazardous condition; and he or she shall cause appropriate signs to be erected and maintained giving notice thereof. No person shall park a vehicle during the time prohibited at places so indicated by official signs.
