No vehicle shall be parked in any space reserved for the stopping of busses; provided that vehicles other than busses may drive into the curb or sidewalk at a bus stop for the purpose of receiving or discharging passengers. The driver of any vehicle other than a bus entering a bus stop for the purpose of receiving or discharging passengers shall not leave the driver’s seat of such vehicle, shall keep the motor running, and shall immediately drive such vehicle out of such bus stop after receiving or discharging such passengers, and the driver of such vehicle shall not permit same to stand within any bus stop for any such purpose for a longer period than one minute, or after signal has been given by the driver of a bus that the space occupied by such vehicle is required and about to be entered by such bus.
