§ 6-3-28 NUISANCES.
   (A)   In addition to subjecting persons responsible therefor to the fines and penalties set forth herein, the following acts in violation of this chapter are hereby declared a nuisance:
      (1)   Keeping or harboring animals in violation of §§ 6-3-3 and 6-3-10;
      (2)   Suffering or permitting any animal to disturb the peace as set forth in §§ 6-3-9 and 6-3-10;
      (3)   Failing to confine or warn of a dangerous a dog in violation of § 6-3-12;
      (4)   Keeping a place where cock fighting or dog fighting occurs in violation of § 6-3-15; and
      (5)   The failure to take measures for the protection of the public as ordered by County Animal Control, the Administrator, or a court in the case of a dangerous or vicious dog.
   (B)   The village may, in addition to seeking remedies and fines allowed by this chapter and the Animal Control Act, seek appropriate relief in the court to restrain or compel the cessation of a nuisance as defined herein.
