§ 6-1-4 BOND.
   Before entering upon his or her duties, the Village Marshal shall file with the Village Clerk a bond in the sum of $1,000, with sureties approved by the Board of Trustees, conditioned to indemnify the Board for any loss or liability due to or occasioned by any act or failure to act on the part of said Village Marshal.
