§ 5-1-99 PENALTY.
   (A)   In the event a person fails to correct any violation of this chapter after notice as prescribed by § 5-1-2, the village may, in its discretion, remove or cause to be removed the offensive material(s) to cure the nuisance. In addition to any other fines and penalties prescribed by the village code, the offending person(s) shall be responsible for reimbursing the village for its employee(s) time, at a rate of $100 per hour for each employee, and/or any additional expenses the village incurs in curing the nuisance or in causing the nuisance to be cured.
   (B)   The village may, in its discretion, seek any other remedy available in law or equity to restrain or enjoin violations of this chapter.
   (C)   The village may also, in its discretion, seek reimbursement of reasonable costs and attorneys’ fees incurred in curing the nuisance(s) and in enforcing the provisions of this chapter, including any costs or fees incurred in preparing a lien pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-20-7, as described in this section herein.
