The City Attorney shall be an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and may have assistants as Council may authorize. The City Attorney shall serve as the Chief Legal Officer for the City, and shall serve as legal counsel for all its officers and departments in all matters relating to their official duties. The City Attorney shall attend all regular Council meetings, unless excused. The City Attorney shall perform additional duties as imposed by City ordinance and State law.
