171.02 MAYOR'S COURT MAGISTRATE.

The Mayor may appoint a person as mayor's court magistrate to hear and determine prosecutions and criminal causes whenever the Mayor is absent or otherwise unable to preside over mayor's court. Such magistrate shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and shall be compensated as provided by ordinance.
